Myth Poem by Jane Cai

Myth

In dream
Your gentle eyesight
Is always I am waiting for…

Every moment in loneliness
I encourage myself
Since I’ve made the promise to you

At the door of my heart
My frozen tears as a lock
Love has been hidden for this moment
When you came and gave it the warmth.

For so many times
I struggled with myself in the darkness
Until you lit the feeling up
With full of your heart

Let me hold your hand until forever
So that the flame of passion
Will never black out

My tears melt into stars shining in the sky
The wings of love are lifted
With our hearts connecting each other

Love is the only myth through all eternity
While the tide rises and falls, the day becomes the night

Love is the only myth through all eternity
With joys and sorrows, for better or worse

This promise is planted in the bottom of my heart
Even if the whole world runs down
I will not let you go

You are the only myth in my heart…

This is deep, Jane, very deep. Yes love is a myth but to some it is a joy. To others it is a thing that hurts when the other partner decides to find some one else. This is a very heartfelt write too, and a courageouos one. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
