Naked Vision Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Naked Vision

Rating: 2.8

So near but far away to naked vision
Failed to realize truth and surrendered to confusion
Phrase is right when considered in earnest
Everything must be seen at its best

We run for oasis
Where as for near things no emphasis
Where do we go wrong then?
At arms length it can be had even

I ventured for far away objects
The happiness was eluded due to my acts
I wanted more in life with no end
There was no tail left behind to mend

Why is it so that you less attention?
The things are easily available for retention
It is for asking and without any resistance
But keeping you at bay at once

We not only make people around us unhappy
But insecure them and push them to worry
They won’t like your thrust for impossible
As they know it may lend them in some troubles

The thrust must be crunched
It is good to have high ambition and must be touched
Yet it may not push you to the brink of disaster
There won’t be any use later on if you loose the race very fast

You may find your self in self created prison
You will be disliked for no fault or with any reason
It is not improper to wish for anything
But it must have substantially acceptable as something
