Nanny Poem by AshleyMarie Rippey

Nanny

If you were there,
When I saw her die,
you would know the pain i saw in her eyes.
You would never believe her last words or laughter.
I can still hear them echoing in my head.
And I still can't believe that the doctor came up to me and said 'you'll never see her again.'
Every year at Christmas we celebrate your birthday.
We all love and miss you.
REST IN PEACE NANNY.
