Nations Which Prosper Sow Good Citizens Poem by Terence George Craddock

Nations Which Prosper Sow Good Citizens

there are proud head held high people
who believe their country is better stronger
more powerful virtuous beautiful than any other

forgetting exemplified empires rise fall
upon not past but contemporary strength weaknesses
inherent in all people living prospering suffering within them

all countries are comprised of now living people
good bad with lifespan age time shifting fortunes
treating all citizens residents with equal rights equality

breeds a proud strong unified depth in vibrant nationality
beware excessive wealth divisions exploitation divisions
sows fragmentations seeds where dissatisfaction breeds

nations which prosper
sow good will citizens
are civilizations countries

built on justice liberty for all
are countries which endure longer
a country is strong when all citizens

are unified resourceful strong
healthy happy thrive sing a freedom song
countries prepared to free speech fight injustice wrong
