Natural High - Poem by Mau Modiano

Poetry, undefined, guidelines of the unknown
Reasons for madness, insanity has grown
A place beyond the eyes, the fantasy of magic
Mysterious lights reveal the sky, no ending here is tragic
The soul of man is free at last, no evil goes to blind it
Our spirit soars unchained, only love to bind it

Lyrics to our lives, ode to our subconscious
We all seem subliminal, alive but not too cautious
A gift to speak, the right to think
We wish to see, yet not to blink
Poetic justice of the heart, a drug to heal our head
Psychedelic color patterns, to see before you’re dead

Redemption for the world, above us green and blue
Are you there God high above, tell us what to do
Followers and leaders, the peasants and the kings
To follow in their footsteps, soon to spread my wings
Celestial cosmos all around us, the stars to keep you calm
No pain, no hate, no suffering, hold life upon your palm
