Naturally Taking Care Of Themselves Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Naturally Taking Care Of Themselves

Watching and looking closely at nature, trees so graceful,
growing towards heaven and spreading their shaded love over
earth, creating a cooler place for humanity to stop and rest.

Delicate, so timidly just standing rooted in one place for
their entire lifetime, always looking at how graceful each
of them are.

Just being, wanting for nothing more than to be admired for
their part in destiny in this earthly world, sacred and
holy in God's eyes.

Beautiful and filled with a strength beyond anyone of our
humanity, winds blowing their limbs and leaves about, nat-
urally taking care of themselves and asking for no ones help.

Preferring to be left alone to take their daily chores and
become what they are while growing through the years, a most
definite and sentimental attitude towards life in our world.

All across the globe, trees of different varieties and types
growing, their roots holding them tightly in the ground so
their beauty cannot be taken away if falling in a storm.
