Nature Is Far Greater Poem by Francis Duggan

Nature Is Far Greater

Nature on her does not have a time span
And is far greater and more powerful than the greatest human
Whose achievements to her does seem rather small
Her Earth Mother is the one who does feed us all
Nature has many moods as we have come to know
We feel fearful and powerless when her anger does grow
In drought, earthquakes, huge gales, flooding, thunder and fire
The awesome power in Nature fear and awe in us does inspire
But in her times of peace her beauty is on display
That is all around us for to see every day
To view the marvels that she does create no money for to pay
How great is Mother Nature seems beyond me for to say
Through the centuries great human beings have come to and from life have gone
But Nature is far greater and she is living on.
