Nature Is Our Teacher Poem by Francis Duggan

My wonder of Nature never ceases to grow
Yet so little of her ways i can claim of to know
Still i learn something new about her every day
That we never stop learning does seem true to say
Though many recognize most species of birds by the song they do sing
Of Nature not one person who knows everything
We will be learning about Nature until the day we do die
And those who will tell you they know all about her believe their own lie
Though this in itself should not be a surprise
Nature has many secrets i have come to realize
Every day about her we do learn something new
Her wonders are many and her secrets not few
Nature is our teacher it does seem this way
And of her we does learn something new every day
