Januarys weather has been strange
Temperatures in the mildest range
We had some storms that did not last
Just cold bursts of icy blasts
The rain in Northern parts came down
Flooding village, countryside and town
Sadly many folks were flooded out
With roads washed out, can't get about
But in the South we've had less showers
Not Northern rain that lasts for hours
In coastal towns gales whipped up the seas
While inland, brought down power lines and trees
So as January comes to an end
Will February turn out foe or friend
Will it stay mild for early buds
Or will it be wet, all turned to mud

Very precise and descriptive. Another good work! I see that, like myself, you sometimes also post older poetry as opposed to something just written that day.
