They came from Germany after the Great War
Settling in South Australia they made a life and more
But Germany changed when they were away
And the Nazis came to power and held sway
Some of these Germans were persuaded by Hitler
To join the party for the New World Order
Included in these people was a Gestapo Johannes Becker officer
Who reported back to Nazi Germany with an information store
When the Second World War commenced
These people were rounded up and fenced
So they spent the war in these places
And some sent back to Germany without grace
And some who stayed in Australia
To put away their Nazi paraphernalia
Left to remember when they were Nazi members
Whilst the rest of us put out the war embers.
