Near the seaside in my seventies
In the days I have left
I'll send my thoughts far out to sea
Imagine the lonely slosh and swish of whitecaps
Or soak sunlight into my skin
Pull the aroma of coffee deep into my lungs
I'll think of you
Wonder at the symmetry of our two selves
In our kiss and embrace
Exalt in our coming together
Predetermined as the collision of planets
I see now the world is much bigger than me

A wonderful poem. I don't have seashore, but I have the mountains, and I love the mountains!
