Nearby Hill-Top View

I soften for what's shrunk down
To a humble sight.
Village, at my feet; effects babe's
Snug in its cot's look.
Harmless beguiles; there noon-napped.
Undisturbed; unshook.

Wetter relent, sympathizing
For what as rapidly
Must inappreciable pass through each
Of a sky-winged thought.
Which times heard dismissive chirped:
'Lowest of the low brought! '
