Neighborhood Notice Poem by Matthew Holloway

Neighborhood Notice

Rating: 5.0

Society is under decay
The neighbourhood spirit
Is being lost and forgotten
Time, time, time covets all
With none to spare
For a friendly hello
For a conversation
Doors must be locked
And life events kept secret
The world is detaching
Spreading apart slowly
The irony of it all
A world is such a hurry
Falls slowly apart
What happened to community
To knowing thy neighbours
Now few and far between
