Never Poem by Madeline Fazio

Never

Rating: 3.0

I see you there and chills run down my spine
It’s like that first time you hear a song,
That touches something deep down inside you

The time I waited went by slowly
I heard every second,
As if in my mind was a great grandfather clock

Ticking loudly to reassure me
That you will never want me
