Never A Ghost Poem by Randy McClave

Never A Ghost

I have served my time there on earth
Now in heaven I had my rebirth,
I have no more cancer or feel anymore pain
And I no longer need or use a cane.
I will not be there to hold your hand
But, I will be there to watch you stand,
I will not cry anymore tears
Nor will I have any more worries or fears.
The problems of others I will no longer see
I am now enjoying my eternity,
The reason why you won't see me or hear my voice
That is of course, God's choice.
God has placed me in a better place
Now the Lord I can always feel and embrace,
My soul has finally found its peace
I am no longer on a lease.
There are no more worries or anymore pride
From you I will not ever run or hide,
Abandonment should not be written on your list
I still, and I will, always exist.
Though I am no longer heard or seen
Upon me you can still hold and lean,
I will still and will always love you the most
But, you won't ever see me as a ghost.
