Never Be Enough. Poem by Carl Roussell

Never Be Enough.

Rating: 4.5

Maybe we shouldn't squander
what we have in this world,
maybe more or maybe less
than we might have liked.
It should have been enough.

We got lost on possessing
all of the tangibles,
not enough time feeling
all the intangibles.
It would have been enough.

Now we've seen the last of you.
You've timed out in this life.
No more dreams, no more hopes.
We miss you dearly Girl.
Time was never enough.
