There is in me a man,
one who cares and feels,
and yes, one who is afraid,
of you, and because of you.

And as a woman
you have what I want.
And as a person
you have what I want.
And as a friend
you are.

There is in me a poet,
one who writes for others,
maybe through his words
he can reach you where I cannot.
