Never Ending Torture Poem by Hector Les Cor

Never Ending Torture

Rating: 4.8

Why? Oh why do this
Have I angered you in some way?
Beautiful sounds you drown in your nasty wish
Hard work destroyed in your 'Crinkle, Crackle, Boom'bay.

Every morning I start of my day
A beautiful sunrise interpreted in sound,
Destroyed in your deceitful ' Crinkle, Crackle, Boom' bay
More and more hate you gain from me, by now a mound.

Yet you do not care
You do not fret
The day over, my mind tired
Only to be tortured in your 'Crinkle, Crackle, Boom' bay.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Everyday I drive to work. My radio playing Brahms, Mozart, Beethoven. The station I listen to is patchy and for miles I hit dead spots only listening to the static.

A well articulated and nicely encapsulated piece of poetry insightfully penned from the heart with good rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing Hector.

Merci Mike! I appreciate your suggestions! I'm a little stubborn and stuck in my ways though. I like the variety that only the radio can provide, even if I only hear great music for 30 second of my 40 minute drive. Any feed back you can give me is welcomed!

Very interesting. Didn't know what to make of it until I read the authors note. Good write. P.S. Maybe try a cd? Or satellite radio
