Never Ever Be The Same Poem by melissa fox

Never Ever Be The Same

Listen to the birds
they dont s\ing the hymn of joy
no
they dont sing the hymn of tomorrow
no
they dont cry for a better life
they sit upon a willow tree
and oh it sways so gently yet
to portray the winds ever whim
the birds they sing
they sing the beauty that
we have lost
engulfed in fog
maybe i will go
and sing
a song that just makes me happy
