logic prejudice ignorance...
which would you prefer
served up with tea coffee
in ages of supposed racial
superiority inferiority impartiality
what defines consciousness
applied social norm reasoning
skim skin ice cold logic consider
superficially momentarily logically...
emotion lurks behind all decisions
emotion can inflame inspire hinder
ignore emotive impact at own peril
people err in emotive passion fits
past mind maps racial prejudice
is not best road to justice futures...
the past to the present to the future
long continuum fractured dominance
power struggles based on toxic mixtures
tradition division exploitive innovation
swinging pendulum sweeping changes
rock agriculture into industrial powers
equilibrium change retains sweat labours
intellectual research detailed poverty cycles...
born in poverty plastic spoon survival people
raised deeply dipped in awareness continuum
know wealth privilege systems stacked decks
trap uneducated destitute people on lowest ranks
of perpetual renewal of status quo yesterday today
a safe sense of stability is alien to poverty minds...
building on abuse treatment personal experiential past
moving on from broken vessel experiences holds
no water no refined olive oil to establish hope retain
equipped climb into foundation for future prosperity
cultural capital enjoys status education wealth assets
enjoys deep pleasurable feelings security rootedness
settled entrenched privilege can ignore poverty crimes
