Never Let Me Fall From Grace Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Never Let Me Fall From Grace

Here I am beside the spirit
Here I am standing next to grace
Keeping on the path of the righteous
Is a task to please thee for my sake

Angels, gather high atop the mountains
Waiting for Hell to pass thy gates
Leave here, why won't you Jesus
Forsake us not for Hell to take

Are you not the Lord our Savior
I have killed them in thy name
It has been done, for the words were spoken
Let not Heaven deliver blame

Why have you Lord betrayed our coven
Where is the glory of thy way
Please dear God, don't leave us with them
Absolve the faithful of thy brave

Oh dear God, I foresee our future
Let the darkness hide my face
Give me pity, for thy judgment
Let an Angel take my place

Surely I have served well the master
Their death has glorified thy name
Blood for sin brings their souls to Heaven
The sacrifice has been made

Please dear God, keep me in the spirit
Never let me fall from grace
I was chosen to kill thy children
Do not bequeath me to this fate

From a vision brought forth by Heaven
The slain have passed beyond the gates
Now for sake of our redemption
Earthly hell at present must be faced

So here I waste inside the darkness
With a burden to be paid
Left behind with Hell's worse monsters
With so many not yet saved

Perhaps pride was my undoing
Therefore, by all I must take, blame
When, 'Divine Will' becomes the sacrifice
Both Gods will know my name
