While the wind blows behind me
I drive to the west wondering
how far will this journey be
beautiful memories all happy
painful to reveal itself
transformed to regret and uncertainty
Looking back will reveal
sadness and delight all around
overshadowed by the weight of how it feels
I went to those memories
looking back with more sadness
tears flow and no one will see
I regret the emotion of the heart
the blindness and form it takes
eventually tearing us apart
While the east wind still blows
I stop the drive and glance back
my heart beating now, but few beats too slow.
