The road is long and heals
Driving alone what do I feel
Memories of where we started
With my past not yet parted
But I kept going, but for what
Just the gravity pull of your heart
What do you say, keep going?
Or turn back now, not knowing
Driving under the bright starlight
I begin to dream with insight
Of how we used to just being
With right and wrong fleeing
The coolness of the dark night
Across the lake made it feel alright
The risk we take is worth the gain
Makes us stronger to avoid the strain
The road has revealed in this journey
Dreams are meant to be followed you see
For what is life without truly loving
But the courage of being selfless and all giving
