Never to find her
Sunday,5th May 2019
you left for heavenly abode
and rode
on the death wings
that made me a sad human being
how painful and sad!
I sobbed
but no one gave solace
after seeing the sullen face
I stood motionless
with no lines on the face
it was unusual
for me to take it casually
how shall I live?
and survive
this question haunted me constantly
the thoughts poured instantly
You smiled at me
and parried with a frank smile
"we have to go one-day dear"
it shocked me and shocked with fear
she has gone forever
But I have never forgotten and stayed near
in the memory and in the mind
my boat has capsized to find never again

A very moving poem, Hasmukh ji. Losing a life partner would indeed be an emotionally shattering experience. May Almighty's grace be with you for your health and well being in her absence. GSP Rao, Camp Mumbai, May 07,2019
