Never Waking Up To Your Smile Poem by Nathan Barkley

Never Waking Up To Your Smile

This world seemed to crash
In a instant
Completing its mission
Yet slowly corroding
I'm bleeding every morning
There is no more you
The sun stopped its burning
Summer died a long time ago
Winter left with it's cold
Fall died along with its leafs
Spring I didn't even get to meet

No air, no sound
Nothingness was only found
Just like space
Only fragments of memories race
Colliding with each other
Just like a neglectful father
No one notices my heart stopped
Left here with pain only to mock
What I don't have
Am I sad?
Or am I mad?
Can you hear my death
You told me to get some rest
You forgot to tell me it was forever
Never waking up to your smile, never
