New Era Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

New Era

A season is born
A passage of bliss
A moment of joy
Aura of new happenings
An era of bewilderment
Life approached with a different apparel
And a sense of demeanor
A lot is bound to transit
Excitement on display
No longer indebted to awful race
At the sight of all we've forever prayed for
Sons and lovers in accord
Moment of merry making
Incitement well played
Commemoration in endless
Isn't life beautiful?
Having achieved that we've waited for years
Business grow with outpouring profits
Strangers greeted with relief
Despite how little;
We ought to forfeit remorse
And be thankful of each day
For a lot gladdens the heart
The moment of new birth
The period our hustle pay
And events yet to unfold.
