' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' 'New Horizon - Poem by Dónall Dempsey

The insects
dare to explore

the grand house
unaware of war

or where
the humans are

enjoying the feasting
on corpses

among such
rich ruins

a fly
coming to rest

on the staring
eye

that sees

nothing

the thunder
of war

reaching a new
horizon.
