Scanning through the New Releases,
Late, very late at night,
I came across three of my poems
Posted on the poets.com site.
I was tempted to review them,
But I did not dare,
It surely would not be right,
And it certainly was not fair.
These poems that I saw before me,
Written early in December,
Had just been included in New Releases,
To be reviewed by Fellow Members.
Since the date these poems were published,
I have written twenty seven more,
How long will I have to wait
For the last to receive an encore?
The moral to this story
Is to have patience and not fret,
For soon they’ll be in New Releases,
Then Reviews I’ll surely get.
