New Year Muse Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

New Year Muse

Rating: 5.0

Hope, love and faith
Would see us through
These perilous times
When everything is amiss.

When the times are hard
The harder we need to work
Towards universal peace
And harmony across the globe.

The decisions we take now may
seem, albeit, a li'l hard on ourselves,
Sure, would create an earth
better for the generations to come.

Kind and dreams of an Idealist of good heart. So beautifully written! Wish I could tell you that they will come true. Hope is the last thing lost and you have plenty of that too. Loved your words and your shining hope.

That is great Sandra. Of course hope is the last thing to lose. Let us not. Thank you, Sandra

part 2. The climate change has already damaged farm land in California--the rains have swept the soil away. If this uis happening in other countries, it is time to take climate change seriously

In spite of this degradation of soil and everyone except Trump has been seized of the gravity of the impacts of climate change, no one is ready to take serious steps to stop it.

There is no "if" Susie. It is happening everywhere. Soil quantity is spoiled all over world, due to excessive use of chemical fertilisers.Soil erosion is a major hazard too
