Next Of Kin Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Next Of Kin

As your reward
For producing a terrorist son or daughter
You shall not suffer the death of a martyr
But just an anticipated and welcomed death
Of being brought to look at the destruction
Of the innocent
That your child had caused
You will be forced to pay restitution
By giving up all your earthly belongings
And then you shall be given a knife
To kill your child with
Or to look at their charred remains
Afterwards you and all your known kin
Will also be put to death
By the same device your child used on his victims
Bomb blast - you will be exploded
Toxic Gas - You'll be fumigated
Gunfire - You'll be shot in the head
Beheading - your head will roll too
Fair is fair
You should never have produced a terrorist
And it is not societys fault
But the upbringing you gave your child
It all starts and ends with you
Dear parents
Raise your children well
You're as disposable as the innocent were
If you should shed any tears
They should be for the innocent your child killed
And not for yourselves
Just a reminder....you're the guilty party
