Nice school days

We had nice feelings
And shared happy moments
No one bothered about others
Remained cordial and offered help

We had one kind jealousy
To remain top of a busy schedule
Sometimes took care to hide
The main answers and confided to self

Teachers were showing favor
To brilliant students and shared
Their expertise and knowledge
So good students always edged out average one

As the age grew
We too flew with ambition
Openly boosted for future carrier
But as a whole, we shared it with all

We had no inferior feelings
But remained as well being
Even gave books free to those
Who were unable to purchase and chose

Since parents were poor
We received help from the neighbors
In form of books and school fees
Even today we are filled with those memories
