some cacti bloom secret scent at night
when fire fierce sun banished burns
not with a harsh heat consuming light
in siren sweat scent of timeless
mystery under diamond endless cinders
star path sown mystic milky way
our star dust souls flame bright
stunning glaring sand cruel sun
daylight earth eyes not blinded
slipping hourglass burning grains
time spent lost gravity falling sands
echo mortal thrashed wheat husks
who sand footprint determined treads
beneath ridge dune collapsing sound pathways
night journey in silk satin black night
