Wrapped in blankets, lies a child,
soul and mind yet very mild,
taken to a land seen by few,
where shine the wishes in night's dew.
By navy sky and gloomy ground,
echo angels lullaby's,
and through the howling wind,
sound the fairies joyful chatter.
Like a stormy sea are the child's eyes,
as in intrigue she sees the sky,
where dreams and visions
in songs shapes fly,
and sail away to forlorn lands.
A nice poetic imagination, Emilia. You may like to read my poem, Love and Lus. Thanks

Your poem reminds me of time when I was a child still... your writing style with sharp images is very well done.
