Night Sleep. Poem by SY Wong ...

Night Sleep.

The night is up
I am sorry you can't sleep
Did you count sheep?
Sheep, not 'sheeps'
Like fish there's no 's'
A school of fish, not 'fishes'
A flock of sheep, not 'sheeps'
So, you can't sleep
Sorry for talking about fish and sheep
But the night is over
You are still thinking of your sleep
Now, the Sun is bursting
The nights are meant for sleep
But you can't sleep
And sleep is what you need
And when the day comes, you work
God created day and night
When is dark, you can't do much
So you rest
But alas, there's a lot of things that hinders sleep
Anxieties, anxieties!
There's no way you can sleep
May peace be upon you
Now, I write like you, poet.
