Night Weaver Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Night Weaver

Oh little spider way up there
In this bedroom that we both share
When I am sleeping in the night
You keep me safe from monster plight

The scary things under my bed
That mommy said, are in my head
Moonlit walls with a shadow crawling
Moving fast, but never falling

Magically gliding through the air
You look so free without a care
Dancing like a mystic dream
Your friends come over, but never leave

Please don't let my mother see you there
She already blames me for her gray hair
It really is such a silly thing
That a little spider can make her scream
