Nighthawks Poem by Tom Billsborough

Nighthawks

Rating: 3.0

Together and apart,
Encased in glass,
The candour of metallic light
The strangers are arranged around the bar
In separate loneliness,
Within this all night diner.
Six empty stools await
Their further ghosts
Who may or may not come to this charade.
