No Democracy Crumble Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No Democracy Crumble

Rating: 5.0

No democracy

No democracy crumbles
Even if people struggle
Opposition makes it hell
Common people feel pinch

For long 60 years
You had no fear
You thrived on public exchequer
Now you feel your party is in danger

Democracy shall not fail
The money power shall be availed
The bills may be stalled
But the strategy may be stonewalled

Where are intellectuals, historians and film makers?
Do they not think not now that India is in danger?
Do they want poor people should suffer?
Only because court has issued no waiver

Let no one raise head above law?
They will not be allowed
The stringent punishment shall be followed
Guilty shall be punished and pushed behind bars

x Kumarendra Mallick Thank you, Hasmukh ji. May our democracy survive and flourish. Cong is the most undemocratic party in the history of Indian politics. There should be some party elections at least. Unlike · Reply · 1 · 2 hrs 6 hours ago
