No Doubts Of You Poem by Katherine Rhodes

No Doubts Of You

When you told me
my heart was cold to you;
the truth was in my heart
i really wanted you,
so i told myself

that i will wait a thousand lifetimes
i will pray a thousand prayers
that you might learn to love me
and wipe away my tears

And now you're holding me
i'm wrapped in your embrace
i can feel your heart
beating close to me
and when i see your face
i know where i belong
you complete my life
you are what makes me strong
so please believe

that i will wait a thousand lifetimes
i will pray a thousand prayers
that you might learn to love me
and wipe away my…

tears that have fallen
will quickly diminish
and doubts of my future
are no longer there
cause I know you’re with me
your voice it surrounds me
and each of your words
shows me that you care

i will wait a thousand lifetimes
i will pray a thousand prayers
that you might learn to love me
and wipe away my tears
