No escape

Poets need no escape
As he keeps no gap
For his conviction and conveyance
Because poems are an only available chance

Poet has the sacred domain
Where he remains confined
with his own influence
And asserts its implications

It is not that all people agree with his viewpoint
Or concede readily with comments
It takes time to settle with reader's mind
And then only gets recognition of the highest kind

His eyes turn around
And searches ground
For poverty alleviation
Or some steps for the removal of starvation

It has humanitarian appeal
And looks so real
As if one is undergoing same trauma and the plight
His words transform some steps in the right direction
