No Exceptions To This Process Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

No Exceptions To This Process

Irrational may be radicals,
In view for all to see publicly.
Declaring what they do,
Is in the service of God.
Displaying a disgracing,
Of all that God creates!

The color of my skin,
Represents to many...
A restriction that limits.
Having nothing to do,
With the mind I use.

I may have experienced,
Disrespect and neglect.
To expect coming from others,
Mentally disconnected...
From accepting their blessing,
Of a life to have received.
Yet...
There is no one better than me,
Given the power,
Done to have me believe...
The color of my skin,
Restricts my mind to limits.
To use as I please.
While witnessing many others,
Disbelieving to accept...
They have been blessed.
To breathe and life the life,
They have been blessed to get.
This to realize,
Has been disconnected...
From truth and its reality.

You, me and others...
Whether made irrational.
Radicals or mavericks.
Nonconformists.
Or flag waving patriots.
We all represent,
The many images and faces...
Of One God!
There are no exceptions,
To this process that will change.
Regardless who professes,
They alone represent God.
With a doing to deface,
A replacing...
Of what God creates.
To eliminate.
Only God will and can prove,
Whose mind has been used...
To delude and refuse truth!
