No Fear Poem by Lorenzo Cruz

No Fear

Seasons have past, since you left me on that hot summer day,
Left me in a pool of tears, my heart you took away.
Taken a toll on my pride, listening to your lies,
and fallin for them all over again.

I felt the summer heat, the fall breeze, the winter blues, april showers, the flowers of may, and back to the rays of sun on my skin.
all these days I looked deep within.
slowly I gained my strength pickin myself back up from this eternal wound, You thought this would kill me, if you only knew.
A good man can never stay down, I have risen from dead, the place where there is no hope, misery was my friend, and death sat next to me.

A new life has begun, and I look back on this year
staring into night shedding a tear, thanking God
that He stood near. No Fear, look into my eyes, there is no hold on me,
I see now what really happened. You ran away not wanting to face yourself and me. Sad to say, you are all alone now, I am still here, but if you don't take this chance, I hear, that this will be another year.
