No ground

Poverty has no ground
It can be found
In each country
With different varieties
Along with animals and vultures
Poor [ep[; e move with their bags
Collect wastage and polythene papers
And some time collect food to meet the hunger
We have all the reasons
To feel shame for the scene
But we have only sympathetic words
With no desire to address and look onward
It is human curse on our society
And label is given for the country
They don't get their share for social security
And live on with the pitiable condition and misery
They look with helpless situation
But never wish the curse to fall on nation
They stare at the sky and pray God
To show some mercy and add no more load
Poverty can never be defined
But only imagined
We don't know how they shall be spending days
And even if we know, the same situation stays forever
raised platforms where pilgrims and way farers used to relax and receive the hospitality of the Gruhasta - owner of the house. At lunch time the gruhasta invariably used to come out and verify whether any guests were there sitting on the arugu, and even wait for some time. Some people even refused to take lunch with out a guest partaking lunch. Thank you Hasmukh ji for the nice poem. R R Gandikota, Hyderabad, camp., Jan 25,2018
