The part of me
That was you
Is gone.
I can no longer
Rise and be
Free.
I can no longer
Laugh and be
Me.
Who are you now?
Just not you.

Left alone by the other one, we all feel incomplete. In love, the 'us' is more important than the 'I', and when after the 'us', the 'I' is left alone, it will never be the same again. Beautiful poem, I love it! Take care, Martine
