No Longer Your Puppet Poem by Crazy Vampire

No Longer Your Puppet

You dare have the nerve to say that my love is untrue
I gave you my everything, I helped when you were blue
Did I not defend you before others, when they talked about you with harsh words?
It was I who took care of you, and yet you think I am absurd
My love for you is real, trust me, it is not fake
Whenever we fight, I feel awful, and I realize that I have made a mistake
I hate myself when I hurt you because I try to protect you, and I fail against my rage
I do everything you ask, you have total control, I am trapped within a cage
Nothing can change your mind, you are too stubborn, I see that now
Your love isn’t worth it, under your feet I shall no longer bow
