No More Blind Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No More Blind

When he tried to come near
I had sensed some fear
He tried to address me as dear
But I was apprehensive with his words to hear

But I was bold enough
To counter it with open laugh
I made it clear
With thick air of layer

What shall you offer?
As my love is precious and dear
I shall not part with lies
You can think and send your replies

He was taken back
As the question was power packed
I wanted no more false person
So made very much clear with reason

You shall not be first
Or even last
I shall choose the right
So make it little accurate

I had wanted heart
That belonged to me as inseparable part
I could weep with open mind
And felt as if was no more blind
