No More War Poem by DM W

No More War

Rating: 5.0

No more flag waving
And clenched fists raised to the skies;
No more metal tigers
With their deadly cutting teeth;
No more shattered glass
And loss of innocent blood;
The demise of ravens
And the beginning of doves.

May the doves fly. Who would think in this century war is still taking place. Too many lives lost with war. Now COVID 19.
