No Need To Raise Your Voices Poem by Mohammad Younus

No need to raise your voices,
Silence is heard by Him;
The duʿāʾs returned to me,
I thought angels would take up to Him;
I thought God is in the Heaven...
...sitting on His sublime throne,
He was laughing at me from all sides...
...and heard He all my duʿāʾs.
He says in the Qur'an:
'When my servants ask thee concerning Me...
...I am indeed close (and) ;
I listen to the prayer of every suppliant...
..when he calls on Me;
Let them also with a will...
...listen to My call...
...and believe in Me...
...that they may walk in the right way.'
(Quran 2: 186)
