No One Poem by Brendan Miller

No One

Rating: 5.0

You can yell all you want
but no one would hear.
You can laugh all you want
but no one would hear.
You can cry all you want
but no one would hear.
You can sing all you want
but no one would hear.

You can smile all you want
but no one would see.
You can frown all you want
but no one would see.
You can wink all you want
but no one would see.
You can scowl all you want
but no one would see.

You can love all you want
but no one will take it.
You can hate all you want
but no one will take it.
You can endear all you want
but no one will take it.
You can despise all you want
but no one would take it.

For if some day you finally disappear,
will someone finally hear you,
will someone finally see you,
will someone finally embrace you?
For if you hang from a tree,
will you be found at all.
