No One Is Spared Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

No One Is Spared

No one is spared,
From escaping the experience...
Of knowing felt emotions.
And no one is spared,
Sleepless nights to wonder...
If a God is really there.

No one is spared,
From those days of caring less.
Who else expresses wishing more love.

People want what they want.
But not to give what they have.
People want what they want.

People want what they want.
But not to give what they have.
People want what they want.

No one is spared.
From dreaming of another.
Touching rubbing under covers.
No.
No one is spared.
From lieing to denying,
Wanting someone aware.
Yet,
People want what they want.
But,
Won't give up what they have to give.
Yet,
People want what they want.
And,
No one is spared.
People want what they want.

People want what they want.
And,
No one is spared.
People want what they want.
