No Picture. Poem by Peter Tallis

No Picture.

Rating: 4.5

No bristles ever painted a more vivid picture than the man with tongue for mind.
Spoken fluidly as if a river or sea, with aggressive vocal gesture matching any painted wave.
A portrait of smile unable to match the imagined reality of described sentiment, placing tears in eyes or smiles on mouths of those that read.
Bumpy braille word allows sight to those without to picture what a picture cannot allow.
The mighty pencil snapped may still scribe the written thought but a bristle less brush may only apply blob of mess to paper plain.
